Horse Feathers

A huge post of all the cartoon strips I made for the recent Amazon Comic Strip Superstar competition. Starting off with the colour 'sunday' strips, and followed by 20 B&W daily strips. Featuring the hapless adventures of Barry and Trevor a pair of seagulls. Click on the images to read them a bit bigger and clearer.

Les Journey Magnifique!

Shawn "jumpers" "the Harg" Hargreaves was a programmer where I used to work. As he has a brain the size of a planet he soon got tired of working with people such as myself, who only have brain's the size of a continent or two, so he left and started work at Microsoft doing some geeky. This was a leaving card that I made him that was printed out to A1 size and now sits on a wall next to his cubicle or desk or central nervous system or whatever it is that's where he works.

Old Regulations - Rugby Comic Strips

Posted by roryroryrory at 07:46 0 comments
A selection of Rugby comic strip panels for an idea to be submitted to newspapers and the suchlike. Not particularly successful, but lessons were learnt and the such like. Note the bottom strip is coloured by hand, just like they used to do in the olde days.

Pixel Twins - Ilex Publishing.

I don't do comic work that often so this was quite an interesting challenge for me. 3 lots of 2 pages for a book on digital technology for kids featuring "Meg" and "Gig" two characters that the yoof of today would be down with. I've heard on the grapevine that this was made into a press release pack, but was sadly never published as whole book which is a shame.
